Dr. Steph was born and raised in Ventura, California. She discovered her love for dentistry early on while spending time at the office with her dad, Dr. Philip Kroll, where she watched dentistry positively transform patients’ lives. She loves how dentistry is the perfect blend of patient care, health science, and art.

Dr. Steph attended Buena High School, where she played volleyball for the Bulldogs and graduated in the top of her class in 2008. She earned a Bachelors degree in Physiological Science from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2012, and continued her dental education in San Francisco at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP). While at UOP, Dr. Steph regularly volunteered both in San Francisco and abroad to provide dental care and oral health education to underserved communities. In 2015, Dr. Steph graduated with honors from UOP and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Continual learning is of paramount importance to Dr. Steph, allowing her to provide leading edge dental care to her patients. Dr. Steph is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), an honor attained by only 2% of dentists worldwide. She is now actively pursuing Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).

Dr. Steph also was a clinical educator at the UCLA School of Dentistry from 2018-2023, where she and Dr. Philip Kroll taught graduate dentists at the Center for Esthetic Dentistry as a part of a two-year residency program. Dr. Steph also served as an Area Director for the Santa Barbara-Ventura Dental Society for 4 years, where she facilitated collaboration and networking between her local colleagues.

Dr. Steph lives in Ventura and is happily married to her high school sweetheart. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with friends and family, traveling the world, practicing yoga, SCUBA diving, reading, and hiking with her adopted greyhounds, Rajah and Margiela.
